How to activate a key or redeem a code in Ubisoft Connect
Open Ubisoft Connect on your PC, select your profile in the top left corner, choose Key/Code Activation, enter the key and select Activate. The game then appears in your library, ready to download and install. Ubisoft only describes key activation in the PC app, not on its website.
In Ubisoft Connect on PC
- Open Ubisoft Connect and select your profile in the top left corner, or open the Ubisoft Connect overlay.
- Choose Key/Code Activation.
- Enter your key or code in the Activate Product field.
- Select Activate.
- The game appears in your library. Download and install it.
Some keys then ask you to choose a product and platform.
If Ubisoft Connect says the key is not valid
Check the format first. Ubisoft keys have 16 or 19 characters, like AAAA-BBBB-CCCC-DDDD or AAA-BBBB-CCCC-DDDD-EEEE. Enter them in upper case, with the dashes. After several failed tries, Ubisoft blocks activation for a while.
If the key is already in use
Each key works once. If Ubisoft Connect says the key is already in use, contact the shop you bought it from. A banned key shows a different error, and Ubisoft covers it in its own help article.
If the key is not valid in your region
Contact the seller and ask for a refund or a version of the game for your region.
On Keyfinder, keys marked Global or Europe activate on accounts in Germany and the rest of the EU, and they are listed first.

Can I activate a Ubisoft key on the website?
No. Ubisoft only documents key activation in the Ubisoft Connect app on PC and gives no website for it.
