How to redeem a code in the EA app or on ea.com

Go to ea.com/redeem, select Redeem for a PC code, type in the code and select Next. In the EA app, log in to the account you want the game on, open My Library and select Redeem Code. The game is added to the EA Account you redeem the code on.

On ea.com in your browser

  1. Go to ea.com/redeem.
  2. For a PC code, select Redeem. For other platforms, select the button below it.
  3. Type in the code and select Next.

In the EA app

  1. Launch the EA app.
  2. Log in to the EA Account you want the game on.
  3. Open My Library.
  4. Select Redeem Code and follow the steps on screen.

Some older games, such as The Sims 2 and Battlefield 1942, can't be redeemed in the EA app.

In your EA Account

  1. Log in to your EA Account and open the Payment and Wallet tab.
  2. Select Redeem a product code.
  3. Enter the code and select Next.
  4. Find the product and select Confirm.

If the code is already redeemed

Go back to the shop you bought it from. EA can't help with codes that were used on other players' accounts, and it can't help with expired codes either.

Gift cards, subscription codes and promo codes

Redeem EA gift cards through EA Wallet. Subscription and currency codes, such as SimPoints, are redeemed at the address given in the code's instructions. Promo codes are discounts you enter at checkout, not product codes.

Can I redeem an EA code without the EA app?

Where does the game go after I redeem the code?

To the EA Account you redeemed it on. In the EA app, log in to the account you want the game on before you redeem.

Is a promo code the same as a product code?

No. A promo code is a discount you enter at checkout. A product code is what you redeem with the steps on this page.
