Is GAMIVO legit? What to know before you buy
GAMIVO is a marketplace for game keys that has been running since 2017. Independent sellers list their keys there, and GAMIVO runs the platform and handles payment and delivery. Whether a purchase goes smoothly depends mostly on the seller, the key's region and the final price at checkout.

How GAMIVO works
The platform is operated by GAMIVO.com Limited, based in Sliema, Malta. Several sellers list keys for each game, and the cheapest offer is shown first.
For each game Keyfinder takes the cheapest seller's price from the data feed GAMIVO provides for price comparison sites.
Service fee and SMART at checkout
Buyers without GAMIVO SMART pay a service fee at checkout on top of the list price. SMART is a paid subscription that removes that fee and lowers some prices. GAMIVO offers it at checkout, often with a cheap first month. Check what it costs after that and untick it if you do not want it.
Keyfinder compares the price without SMART and flags the service fee on every GAMIVO offer.
Region and platform
GAMIVO sells keys for Steam, Battle.net, EA App, Ubisoft Connect, GOG, Epic Games, Rockstar, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. Keyfinder only shows offers for the regions Global, EU or Germany and puts the ones that activate in the EU first.
On GAMIVO the region is at the end of the title. Check it before you pay, and check the edition too.
Why are the prices so low?
Sellers buy keys during promotions, in bulk or in cheaper countries and resell them at a small margin. That is why every game page shows the official Steam price next to the marketplace offers.
If a key does not work
Report the problem to GAMIVO support from your order, describe the error and attach a screenshot. Do not share the key. A revealed key usually cannot be returned, so check the region and platform first.
Frequently asked questions
Is GAMIVO safe?
GAMIVO has been running since 2017 and handles payment and delivery for its sellers. Most problems come from the wrong region or edition, or from missing the fee and the SMART subscription at checkout. Check those before you pay.
Do I need GAMIVO SMART?
No, SMART is optional. Without it you pay a service fee at checkout. Keyfinder shows prices without SMART.
Do GAMIVO keys work in Germany and the EU?
Keys marked Global or EU activate in Germany and the rest of the EU; keys marked Germany activate in Germany. Keyfinder only shows these regions from GAMIVO.
Does Keyfinder earn money from GAMIVO purchases?
Yes. Keyfinder may earn a commission when you buy at GAMIVO through our links. Your price stays the same.
